Let's get started with your notary transfer journey!

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • An active signingorder.com signing service account

  • A Notary Everyday signing service account

1. Exporting Your Notary Lists from SigningOrder

First, we'll need to export your notary list from Signing Order. Don't worry—this will not affect your Signing Order account at all.

  1. Head to signingorder.com and log in

  2. Look for "Export" at the top right of your dashboard

  3. Download two separate files:

    • Your approved notaries list

    • Your preferred notaries list

2. Import to Notary Everyday

  1. Log in to your Notary Everyday signing service account

  2. Navigate to the left navigation bar and click → "Import Notaries"

  3. Choose your import type:

    • Click "Import Approved Notaries" for your approved list

    • Click "Import Preferred Notaries" for your preferred list

  4. Upload your CSV file when prompted

4. Map Your Columns

  1. Review the automatic column mapping

  2. Match any unmatched fields manually:

    • Click the dropdown next to each field

    • Select the corresponding column from your CSV

  3. Verify all required fields are mapped correctly

  4. Click "Confirm Mapping"

5. Complete the Import

  1. Review the import summary showing:

    • Total notaries to be imported

    • Missing information warnings

  2. Click "Import Notaries"

  3. Wait for the confirmation message

After Import

  • You can go to the "Notary Hub" to verify all notaries were imported correctly

Troubleshooting

Common issues and solutions:

  • Format Errors: If your CSV isn't formatted correctly, try exporting a fresh copy from SigningOrder
